Honey Oat Bread

Seriously the EASIEST bread I have EVER made in my ENTIRE life!!!

I found this recipe on pinterest and it's a keeper!

Adapted from: Southern Lady Cooks

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup honey
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons oil
In a large bowl using your paddle (if using a kitchenaid) whisk together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, oats, salt, and baking powder.  In a small bowl whisk together buttermilk, egg, oil, and honey.  Combine into the large bowl and mix well.  Put on your dough hook and knead for 3 minutes.  Add flour as needed until you have a soft dough.  Turn into a sprayed 9x4 bread pan.  Bake at 350 for 35 min.  Pull out and drizzle a little more honey on top and bake for 5 more minutes. Remove from pan and serve warm. Makes one loaf.
